ANote Music extends partnership with Lithuania HQ to add 4 new listings, starting with TRFN's EDM/Dance catalogue.
Luxembourg, 17 November 2023 - ANote Music (“ANote”), Europe’s leading marketplace for investing in music royalties, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Lithuania HQ, the influential EDM/dance record company. The next stage in this partnership brings four new catalogues onto the ANote Music platform, with the first being 12% of the label’s share of Greek electronic music producer TRFN.
After the success of ANote Music and Lithuania HQ’s initial partnership on the Dynoro catalogue, Lithuania HQ has decided it wants to list more of its repertoire onto the ANote Music Platform. This time, the wider offering is bigger and provides more choice, with four different catalogues set to launch in the coming weeks- three of which will feature individual artists, and one will include a mix of some of the biggest and most upcoming names from the Lithuania HQ roster.
The catalogue, launching this week, features TRFN, an electronic music producer and audio engineer based in Athens. The Greek artist’s music career began in 2017, and he quickly gained significant attention in the electronic music scene with the release of his remix of Kelis' iconic ‘Milkshake’, which garnered over 20 million views on YouTube alone, and has recently regained its popularity on TikTok, where it has been featured in more than 20,000 videos to date.
In recent years, the electronic/dance music scene has grown rapidly in popularity, with the Luminate Mid-Year Report 2023 listing it as the 6th most popular music genre worldwide. The genre’s growing popularity was confirmed in the 2023 IMS Business Report, which revealed that the global dance music industry grew by 34%, surpassing even pre-pandemic highs.
Including 40+ tracks produced by Greece’s TRFN, as well as his greatest hits 'U Do', ‘Crazy’, ‘Wake up in the Sky’ and the renowned remix of ‘Milkshake’, the catalogue has generated average annual royalties of €57,377 in the last three years. It is also listed for the entire Life of Rights, valued at €315,000.
The catalogue also includes records TRFN has released with other popular artists, including Fella, Aivarask and Siadou.
